Not sure it's a good deal

This is a beautifully put together spiral type book. It's huge too!
My only complaint is I have all the Gooseberry Patch Christmas books 1-10. If you are like me and have many or all of them then I wouldn't purchase this book. It's a compiled version of the best of those books. For that reason I give it a 3 star. I was very disappointed to find all the recipes, crafts and such I already have in the other books. Unless I missed it I think Gooseberry should have stated that in the description of the book. If you haven't collected or have any of those other Christmas books from Gooseberry then I would say buy this one and I would give it 5 stars. It's a fun book to look at with many great recipes and ideas for celebrating the holidays.

Enjoyable

I'm a fan of gooseberry patch cookbooks and a collector. This is a large-sized Christmas book filled with holiday recipes and crafts bound in an over-sized spiral notebook sized book. It is broader and of a different style and shape than your standard gooseberry patch book.
I have looked through this cookbook and craft book several times, and yes enjoyed it. This is a compilation of books 1-10. If you are a first-timer to gooseberry patch franchise you probably couldn't go wrong with this volume. It has a number of crafts and recipes (over 600), and contains many cheerful suggestions for the holidays. I particularly liked seeing the cute Gooseberry Patch Friends illustrations throughout this volume. If you are an owner of previous volumes, I would check it out first, to see if you are interested.
This was a good book, with some above average photography. Some shots were a little dark, and not as good as their current standard, but still quite nice. The layout is fun, and I think this would be a great way to introduce a newbie to the Gooseberry Patch Franchise.
