Great Book

The book is great, recipes are incredible, however pay attention to the measurements and cooking times, they may need a little adjustment, I tried the coconut flan and it asks for 1.5 hours baking time and it only took 35-40 minutes to be ready.

Indispensable, Gorgeous

I could not believe my good luck when I found this splendid book for $4 at a friends of the library sale. The photography is absolutely magnificent. The recipes are clearly written and vary from quite simple to elaborate. The book is thoroughly researched and would be worthwhile even without the recipes as an introduction to regions and regional cuisines of Mexico. This is the kind of cookbook where I'll start at the beginning and just cook my way through it. Highly recommend this book.

This is the most authentic cookbook I have ever purchased. I first found it in a used bookstore. I then bought another copy for my co-worker who was born in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. She said a lot of the recipes were very close to what her grandmother taught her.
