great piece of literature

I was so excited to receive this book new and in hardcover cheaper than the paperbacks at the bookstore. this ancient tale is a fun read, I am happy to add it to my collection.
It is composed beautifully for any library it is a gem, though the picture wasn't what I received in the mail. In fact I was happier because it was a black cover and I think it looks better that way.

Another Beautifully Constructed Classic Piece to Add to a Formal Library

Another wonderful, well constructed, hardback book for my collection. Whenever I review hardbacks, I always state that I purchase only classics in hardback and that I still own a Kindle. Easy to read letters that are large and dark, but not too large. I do like that. Fun book to read in the evenings before bed to get your mind off things. Not a large book, but one that teaches life lessons. I don't think I would have wanted to be close to Gilgamesh as he seemed like the typical, restless showoff, yet he is a timeless historical figure nonetheless.

1000 years older than Genesis. Unbelievable! This book has a great introduction and is high quality. I highlight throughout mine and it doesn't bleed through the pages. I also found an audio book on youtube that is almost word for word.. which makes for a great additional resource.
