About the Author
MORGAN MURPHY is a best-selling writer and television personality and the author of Off the Eaten Path and Off the Eaten Path: Second Helpings. He has appeared on the Travel Channel, "The Today Show," "Fox & Friends," CNN, Sirius/XM, and NPR as well as contributed to Vanity Fair, Forbes, Esquire, The New York Post, and Southern Living. The Alabama native is a graduate of the University of Oxford and Birmingham-Southern College. Commander Murphy serves in the U.S. Navy Reserve and is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan. He lives in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

Bourbon and bacon means delicious!

Fabulous book! I promptly held a dinner party using the book all the way from cocktail to dessert. Rave reviews from guest! A fantastic read whether you ever light the stove or crack open a bottle. I can't put it down. I get hungry every time I read.

Witty and Delicious!

I gave this book to my husband as a birthday present. He loves bacon, bourbon, and cooking (and especially all 3 combined), so what isn't to love about this book? In addition to the many wonderful recipes in the book, the witty banter of the author was entertaining and informative. The author gives a lot of information about the process of making quality bourbon and bacon, the author's opinion about various bourbons, and where to purchase good local bacon. We were especially pleased to find one of the recommended farms less than 30 minutes from our house!
