King Kong the Literature edition

King Kong . . . You know the name of KING KONG...the eighth
wonder of the world ... Ten times as big as a man.( ok, i am stealing from Rankin-Bass cartoon theme song, but it works here!) If you haven't seen the new Peter Jackson version on DVD, GO NOW-its wonderful done!
However since Kong alreadt hits DVD and after you watched the movie-you try the two versions of the classic Kong.(one from Blackstone the other from full cast audio) The two unabridged recordings are different as day and night and they tell the same story.
The classic novel (5.5 hours. Five CDs, unabridged, Blackstone
Audio) is read by talented audio actor Stephan Rudnicki. Rudnicki is a master craftsman in regard to audio narration and it shows in this production. This solo narrative effort of Rudnicki stands out as a great job of storytelling
On disk five is commentary regarding Kong the film and the characters by such fantasy and SF talents as Ray Bradbury, Orson Scott Card, Harlan Ellison (His comments are the best commentary on Kong CD. Its Classic Ellison at his best! ) and Catherine Asaro.

Not Delos's original novelization

I got a sample of this, just to see what the novel was like. This isn't. It's the film script in Kindle form. If that's something you want, by all means, go for it. Otherwise, get it print or get Brad Strickland's version for Kindle. (I check a sample of the print version; it wasn't written in script form).
