Fair book, but way overpriced & probably obsolete.

This text is required for an online course I'm taking at Bismarck State College. It has been useful, but not w/out considerable input from seasoned students and the instructor. The course is super, but I'm disappointed in the book. It was at one point a valuable book, I'm sure. But at ten years since its most recent update, it is well outdated, especially when it comes to regulations, trends, and strategies. Your likely conclusions will be that this book:
1.) misses critical activity since the year 2000
2.) therefore, should be priced at less than $25.00
3.) has a shallow index, making it a poor reference tool
4.) has no list of common terms
The book is also quite repetitive, but I find this useful. To its credit, it gives a good overview of electricity markets and their formations. Some of the book requires previous knowledge and exposure to markets.
This is a good opportunity for a more current book to be written to fill a real need, or for Denny & Dismukes to update their work to justify the big price for this 125 page out-dated book.
